Dr. W. A. Lloyd-Smith passed November 12, 2026 in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by friends, family, and her loyal doggy companions. Devoted to her dogs to the end, she never missed a night with them sleeping on her bed.

With over 30 years experience, ‘Fred participated in competitive obedience, field trials, hunt tests, and pet therapy with her Gordon Setters. She always believed in the versatility of the breed to learn and do anything, even if sometimes they made you work for it (or perhaps especially so).

Bracadale Kennel will continue under her daughter, Alana Lloyd-Smith.
